The levels of performance described apply to a standard craft (with standard equipment installed) with clean hull, propeller and rudders. Moreover, it is specified that such levels of performance were achieved under favorable sea and wind conditions (one on the Beaufort scale and one on the Douglas scale); in the case of diverse or less favorable sea conditions performance levels may vary considerably.
2. DETAILS OF THE HULL
The structural project of the hull has been carried out according acknowledged Classification Committee (R.I.N.A), which approved the project. This implies a further proof of the structure quality, that is already guaranteed by the most advanced techniques and material used.
VINYLESTER RESIN is used for the first coats of the hand laid-up lamination below the water line. The kind of resin is extremely effective in preventing osmosis thanks to its chemical and physical characteristics. Based on this, HANGTONG is able to offer 1 year warranty against osmosis.
World acknowledged quality isophtalic resin is used for all the stages of the hand laid-up lamination process.
High quality PVC with outstanding mechanical peculiarties is used for main deck and superstructure lamination with sandwich core.
Engine room, collision and bow bulkhead are in fiberglass with sandwich core. All other internal bulkheads are built with advanced composite materials. Keel is deep V type with 17 degree aft deadrise.
3. ENGINES
Main Engines: Cummins QSB5.9-440HO with ZF85A R:2.5 rpm 3400, Hour meter on engine.
Reversing-reductioning group: ZF 85A, reduction rate 1:2.5
Propeller: NiAl bronze, four blades, designed and built to optimize hull performance and to guarantee good comfort during sailing.
Shaft: AQUA 17 steel, or similar diam.64 mm, supported by brass stands and stern tubes, Tides or equivalent shaft seals.
4. STEERING
Rudders: AISI 316 steel with suitable surface to ensure easy maneuvers. Rudder holes and pole of the rudders in Marinox 17. Bar and yoke in Cu4.
5. MOORING
One 17G Poolanker anchor in steel;
50 steel chains (8m of diameter);
One 1000W, 12V, anchor winch on bow inside a proper storage;
Six cleats in total (two in aft, two on bow and two at midship).
